Mentorship isn’t just a career booster—it’s a highly reliable strategy for achieving higher salaries, faster promotions, and stronger professional confidence. Whether you're an emerging leader or an experienced executive, mentorship can be the single most impactful investment in your personal and professional growth.
Studies show that mentored employees tend to earn higher salaries and have faster career advancement compared to those without mentors.
For instance, a study by FM Magazine* found
mentored employees earned up to $25,000 more per year compared to their non-mentored counterparts.

A 2016 Harvard Business Review article highlighted that employees with mentors are 130% more likely to hold leadership positions within their organizations (Harvard Business Review, 2016)*. Meta-analyses (e.g., from Journal of Vocational Behavior, 2008) also found that employees with mentors are five times more likely to be promoted compared to those without mentorship (Eby et al., 2008)*.
A study on mentorship in the corporate sector indicated that mentored employees had
higher levels of job performance
compared to non-mentored employees (Underhill, 2006)*.

If you’re serious about accelerating your career, increasing your leadership presence, and unlocking your full potential—mentorship is the fastest way to get there.
There's a reason why people like Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, Sheryl Sandberg, Steve Jobs, Barack and Michelle Obama, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Satya Nadella and Indra Nooyi (and again, the list goes on), credit their mentors for a large part of their success.
Madusha didn't have much career progress for many years. Then she
met her mentor, and in 6-months, she interviewed for and secured a position as a Chief Marketing Officer of an international company of over 900 staff members.
She went on to receive two awards from the World Leadership Congress for Women Achiever of the Year, first in Sri Lanka (2019) and then Asia (2020).
By the age of 31, she became the youngest CEO and a Board Director of that same company. She has been involved in merger negotiations, crisis management, and inter-cultural communication, working with Fairtrade small farmer groups with over 10,000 farmer families.
Having lived and worked in Sri Lanka, Canada, the UK, and Germany, she brings a global perspective on leadership, influence, and career acceleration.
And she is sharing her hard-won knowledge with a select cohort of like-minded, self-development and growth-oriented peers, who are ready for a different life from the conventional.
